Clinical Studies
The Pepose Vision Institute conducts clinical studies in St. Louis to advance ophthalmology research. Our facility plays a major role in FDA-approved clinical studies related to vision correction technologies. We have one of the premier studies programs in the nation, yielding superior outcomes and results. Income from clinical trials administered by Pepose Vision Institute goes directly to the Lifelong Vision Foundation to fund independent vision research projects, community programming, and education.
What are Clinical Studies?
Clinical studies are research studies used for FDA-approved procedures and products, such as LASIK and Crystalens, or studies performed for FDA approval. Most studies require a longer patient time commitment to effectively measure the progress. In exchange for this time commitment, patients are often offered these procedures and/or products at a reduced price.
Our clinical studies are an ideal option for patients to receive the best vision correction possible within their budget.
